Our Animals on the Ranch

The privately owned 11,000 acre Russell Ranch is located in Menard, Texas. This is where the Infinity Outfitters do their hunting. This ranch has a world class herd of axis, blackbuck, and red sheep. Axis bucks range up to 37”, the blackbuck up to 24”, and red sheep over 30”. The land was fenced in high in the early 1990’s before two groups of axis and blackbuck were introduced in 1994’. No other axis and blackbuck were brought in. This made the current herd an established and self-sustaining herd. The herd's ability to thrive is attributed to the ranch's variety of terrain. From mesquite flats to rolling rocky hills, the land is covered with food for the animals. Live oaks, mesquite, and scrub brush make up the vegetation on this ranch.
